McKay Métis Group is celebrating two awards recognizing MMC’s people and their commitment to safety. The achievements were announced on October 6, 2026.
Safety Team of the Year
MMC’s safety team received the AMSA Safety Team of the Year Award from the Alberta Mine Safety Association.
Trail Blazer Business Leader Award
Tina Conley, Senior Safety Manager, received the Trail Blazer Business Leader Award in the Contractor category.
Christie Philpott, Safety Advisor; Tina Conley, Senior Safety Manager; and Carmine Marra, Operations Superintendent represented MMC in celebrating these achievements.
