Our first-ever golf tournament was an absolute triumph, and it's all thanks to the incredible support of our generous sponsors. Together, we raised an astounding $60,000 for our beloved community of Fort McKay Métis Nation.
Successful snack drive for JSYF
In partnership with Superior Propane, our staff collected food snacks for the Justin Slade Youth Foundation (JSYF)! Once again, our amazing community opened their hearts and wallets and donated 3 truckloads. We also received over $600 in cash donations and gift cards.
Fort McMurray Strongman 2023
The first ever combined Western Canada’s Strongest Man & Woman. Athletes will compete in 8 strength-based events over two days to qualify for Canada’s Strongest Man and Strongest Woman in Canada competitions. Fort McMurray is known as one of the premier locations for Strongman/strongwoman competitions in the province since 2008, having been host recently to three Provincial championships in 2016, 2018, and 2020, as well as the Canadian National championship in 2021.

Fort McMurray Giants Sponsor 2023 Season
The Fort McMurray Giants are entering their 8th season in the WCBL and are very excited to return to another entire season with the fans in the stands. The WCBL consists of 11 teams across significant cities within Alberta & Saskatchewan. Each team consists of 30 players from acclaimed colleges and universities in North America looking for summer playing time and exposure to professional scouts.
